Cross country Race held at HMHSS KREERI

Kreeri, May 11:  A cross country race was today held at Kreeri  in which about 130 students from Hanfia Model Higher Secondary Kreeri   area participated. The race was organized by Hanfia Model Higher Secondary Kreeri  from Dolipora  to the Higher Block  of  Hanfia Model Higher Secondary kreeri  , a 5 km run, where in Principal Mohd Ashraf Dar flagged in the race. The race was categorized into two categories of under-17 and under-14. Aadil Majeed  emerged as the winner of under-17 category, while Mehraj-u-din emerged as the winner of under- 14 category. Both of the winners were given prizes on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Principal stressed upon the timely holding of such events and said that such initiatives not only enrich the minds of youth but also help them in their physical well- being.
“Physical education is a necessary tool for social development besides the other means of education,” Principal added.
