Mansoor Parey Kreeri: March 27 In order to develop better sense among the school children about the importance of trees for human beings, Hanfia Model Higher Secondary School Kreeri Pattan Organized a glittering function which followed a massive Plantation drive in the school campus. Young Broadcaster and TV Host Azhar Hajni was the chief guest whileas Author of Two books Tearful Pages and Shattered Dreams Azra Mufti was the guest of honor in the function . Azhar while highlighting the importance of planting tress and disseminating information about it's importance for the humans said that Apart from inhaling carbon dioxide trees also absorb various harmful gases including sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide and also filter harmful pollutants from the atmosphere thereby providing us fresher and cleaner air to breath. The growing amount of air pollution caused by the smoke emitted by vehicles and factories can be controlled only if we plant more and more trees. However, this is not the only reason why tree plantation is important. It offers several other benefits. Speaking on the occasion Guest of honor Azra Mufti Highlighting the significance of Plantation and Academics of Students, she said Teachers can play a vital role in society reiterating their commitment of achieving goals in this regard. On the occasion various students also highlighted the importance of plantation Day meanwhile 5th class student Fatima Shameem who got the first position in the inter school seerat conference competition held at High School Wagoora were also felicitated on the occasion. Administrative Officer Aijaz Ahmad, Principal Model School Kreeri Mohmad Sultan and Humorous Poet Shad Dardpori were also present on the occasion and the host of the Programme was Mansoor Parey.
